If there is one way to conquer your fear of heights, it’s to jump out of a plane at 10,000 ft!

That’s just what Alex Knight from Organically Coated Steels (OCS) did during the summer when he successfully completed a tandem skydive over Whitchurch Airfield in Shropshire in aid of the charity Childline.

“I’ve never been great with heights,” admits Alex who works in Internal Sales at OCS in Kidderminster. “I was pretty chuffed that I did it and surprised at how few nerves I had before the big moment. It was 100% excitement and I definitely feel stronger in myself for having taken the plunge. A great experience.”

Alex is further looking to conquer his fear of heights by completing an abseil within the next year.
